Main Stage was filled to the rafters both Saturday and Sunday for the Five & Dime Drama Collective's Fall Performances Series. Playwrights for all six short plays were in attendance and were thrilled for the opportunity to see their new work performed before a lively audience. The outstanding cast, Director Larry Horn and the creative team received standing ovations both nights!
Shown in photo: The final play of the six plays in the Five & Dime Drama Collective Fall Performance Series was "The Best Thanksgiving" by Alex Mironoff of Fayetteville. Uncle Ned, played by Steve "Yip" Vorbeck, upends a family gathering by channeling Jerry Falwell in a Thanksgiving Prayer gone awry. Flanking Vorbeck are (from left) Chris Ritthaler as Bill, Ian Evans as Tommy, Joa Murray as Janice, and Liz Kimberlin at Mona.
